Clocks of FireClocks of Fire   
It is winter, and I walk in the snow… alone.  The night creeps around me, engulfing me in its many sorrows.  It whispers to me, reminding me of the past, the one thing I would die for to forget.  To forget the venomous feelings, the things that ensnared me in a haven, only to betray me.  As I emerge from the forest, I look in through the window of a lone house,  its walls wrapped in a sheet of  betrayal and lies.  Through the window, a single light comes from an oil lantern.  I stare at the lantern, captivated by its mysterious blaze.  Suddenly, a shadow walks Clocks of Fire

The Healing LightThe Healing Light   
A maiden stares out from her bedroom window,  watching the twinkling stars as they race one another towards an endless abyss of darkness.  She can only wish to be as free as one of them, away from the daily conflicts and pains of life.  However, something catches her eye.  A shimmer in the starlight?  No, it’s more noticeable than such a thing.  A human-shaped being of light steps out from a bush, quietly looking up at her.  It seemingly observes the tears on her face, as if it knew something was trying to consume her.  She can only watch it, wide-eyed, in awe, alone. 10. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.

13. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.
